Welcome to Plan B (UK) Ltd. Training Division

CIEH Registered Training Centre, based in Bath and covering the South West of England.

 Delivering qualifications that will help your business by meeting the requirements of current Food Safety legislation and good practice.

Level 1 awards are aimed at those new to the workplace who require a simple overview of a subject, before starting work or as part of an induction programme. For example, school leavers taking their first job or candidates with special needs.

Level 2 awards are aimed at those in the workplace who participate in activities related to the subject area (equating to the present foundation or ‘basic’ qualification). Examples are shop floor employees, front line staff employees in production or services.

The law states that "food businesses must make sure any member of your staff who handles food is supervised and instructed and/or trained in food hygiene in a way that is appropriate for the work they do". It is recommended as good practice to re-train staff every three years, to keep up with changes in legislation.

"Safer Food, Better Business" workshop (Food safety management procedures based on the principles of HACCP, suitable for smaller businesses)

Training sessions are available to enable management, proprietors or supervisory staff to understand and use a food safety management pack, suitable for caterers or retailers.

This pack has been developed to help small catering businesses such as restaurants, cafés and takeaways comply with new regulations introduced in January 2006.
